Lanyards for Station Staff
Officers and civilian staff wear an ID through a station shift and a courthouse morning. Their lanyard shows who employs them, and a person nearby can read the workplace on the strap. Sheriff lanyards often repeat a gold star and the office initials on a black background. In a large department, a specialized unit can print its own title in big type. At a hosted conference, attendees get a lanyard with the event name and take it home. Deputy associations and police benevolent groups order a set to mark a milestone year.
Imprinted polyester or imprinted nylon straps carry a department name and its logo. Most of these orders come in black or navy, at 5/8 inch or 3/4 inch. Choose woven when the lettering is simple and has to last, since the letters are thread and can’t rub off. The plastic breakaway at the back of the neck is the release an officer has if someone grabs the strap. If something catches, that piece pulls apart. A buckle release lets the lower half come off. A clear badge holder keeps the card facing out. One attachment comes with every lanyard, and the other hooks and clips are on the attachments page.

Station
Workday
The sworn and the civilians who share a station wear one agency strap for the length of the workday. People during training week and people at the counter wear the same straps.
When
Units Order
People from different units cross in a large building, and each unit orders that strap with its own name. A seal can sit with the team name.
Conferences
and Milestones
Attendees at a department conference put on straps printed with the gathering’s name and keep them after. People graduating at the academy get straps for the ceremony. An association can print a thin blue line flag for a milestone.

We've got answers
Buyers ask these questions when they order for a whole roster.
They are lanyards printed or woven with an agency’s name or seal, and they hold the ID card at chest height. A star can repeat along it. The people who carry an ID wear theirs for the whole shift.
The smallest order is 100 lanyards. Larger quantities bring the price per lanyard down. One order can run a single design in more than one color, such as black and green.
Anyone who works with the public should add one. A grabbed strap puts the wearer at risk, and this closure separates under a pull. The hard plastic kind sits behind the collar. A velcro version uses a fabric tab when a softer join feels better.
Yes. Your seal or badge prints in one to three ink colors on polyester, and on nylon when the artwork has small lines. Nylon’s smooth surface shows fine seal details best. A unit title can sit beside it in the same inks.
Most orders for a daily ID use a lobster claw, often paired with a holder or a retractable reel. A J-hook is the other common choice on a police badge lanyard.
Tell your rep the date up front. Do that when the order is for a summit or an academy graduation. Production takes 3½-4 weeks after the buyer approves the proof, plus about 2 business days in transit.
